Dedicated Development Team |
A dedicated team is a logical extension of the customer's software facility. This is the preferred route for clients who use U-TO as a development partner. Also it is the preferred route for engagements requiring strategic long-term relationships. Here the client is billed on a fixed monthly base.
Fixed Price |
Here a customer pays a pre-agreed price for the full project, for which the customer provides a clear scope of work and well defined deliverables. For any changes in scope a predefined hourly rate, agreed at the start of the project is used to ascertain the impact on project cost.
Time & Material |
As the name suggests, the hourly rate is fixed under this model and we work hand in hand with the client for end to end execution of the project. In projects that have a clear definition of work this model may even be transformed into a fixed price one.
Hybrid |
This is the preferred model for most customers, since it is a combination of the Fixed Price, and the Time & Material models. Major portion of the project is developed on a fixed price basis, at the same time a few resources are also deployed on Time & Material basis. These resources are normally specialized skill sets.
| The above mentioned engagements are further executed by means of using the below listed deployment strategy: |
| For engagements requiring onsite work our Onsite Consulting Practice provides experienced professionals. For project work, our Offshore Delivery organization utilizes a combination of onsite as well as offshore professionals to deliver solutions for our clients. |
On site Deployment |
Usually the preferred strategy when there is a high degree of change requests anticipated or if the risk profile of the client is deemed high. Also in cases when the information contained in the system is too sensitive or the system per say is not open to remote access.
Offshore Deployment |
This is for most clients who possess native project management capabilities. Also the preferred route for long-term development contracts.
Hybrid Deployment |
This is kind of deployment is normally used when a high degree of change requests are anticipated, or when the system is either highly complex and or mission critical. It uses a combination of onsite and Offshore deployment.
| Clearly, the combinations, many and all of them are possible. |
